mopar_earl Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Hello, I searched the forum and had no luck finding what for sealer you guys are using on the intake manifold gasket. Maybe no one is using a sealer? Being the intake, I'd hate to have vacuum leaks so I believe sealer should be used. Any advice? Thanks, Earl Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 you need no sealer on the manifold other than a nice new clean gasket..if you are having sealing issues look the having the surface machined flat... 1 Quote
_shel_ny Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 And per manual installation instructions tighten the 4 bolts that secure intake to exhaust after the other 13 nuts/bolts to insure that both intake and exhaust are seated properly against the gaskets/block. Quote
