B1B Keven Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 I've got a running 318 you can have. Also have access to a front frame clip and rear axle out of a '90 D150. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 For the life of me I cannot figure out how a shiverlay swap is less costly than an A-LA swap...someone please enlighten me. You really need to read through the various forums and see just how much work is involved in doing a v8 swap of any kind. If you expect to actually have a decent driver you will be spending plenty of money on all of the 'little' details that folks don't like to talk about. If all you're after is some kind of rat-rod that scares the rest of us on the road then perhaps the costs will be less... Know your limitations. technically it is not and the mopar will build more power for the dollar...but it is easy because the industry is gear up for bolt in kits for the SBC whereas to do a Mopar in these cars one has to be resourceful..rules many folks out right there....and besides, walk along any highway in the US within a couple miles you can find enough parts that have fallen of chevies to built one....so that may be the cheap factor..... 1 Quote
