desoto1939 Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 Buick John: Not sure what you are asking. Are you asking the question if there was an option to have fluid drive in a dodge truck? Please restate you question. Thanks, Quote
Merle Coggins Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) I'm not fully understanding your question, but if you are asking if trucks did have Fluid Drive, the answer is yes. With the B2 model change in 1950 they added the Fluid Drive option to the light trucks (1/2 - 1 ton). It was offered with a standard 3 speed, column shift, or a floor shift 4 speed. Then with the B4 trucks, in '53, they also offered the M6 semi-auto trans with it and called it Truck-O-Matic. Merle Edited May 14, 2015 by Merle Coggins Quote
Buick john Posted May 14, 2015 Author Report Posted May 14, 2015 Thanks merle you've answered my question which was did 1/2-1 ton trucks have fluid drive. My partner has always driven it like a normal manual column change. Until yesterday when I drove it and found out rgds Quote
