smtrip Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 I bought a 1949 plymouth with no motor. I am putting the flathead six back in and am confused about the rear motor mounts. My service book is not very clear. Are there two rear mounts on each side, a top and bottom. Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the rear mounts? Quote
Young Ed Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 I believe by 49 they were only using a front mount and 2 rear mounts. Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 Here is another picture of the rubber parts. A fellow on eBay sells the larger cone shaped items.......but you don't seem to see the smaller ones. The bottom, long item, is the front mount. It can sometimes be re-vulcanized according to some people. Quote
