wildwilf Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Will the brake tee that Vintage power wagons sells on page 55 Part # 7351215 work on the rear of a 53 Fargo FP1 or Dodge B4B Thanks Quote
NiftyFifty Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 Unless your aiming for 100% original, I'm sure any parts supplier can come up with an appropriate T to split the line from the master to the rear axle. That picture is pretty hard to tell what it looks exactly like. Quote
wildwilf Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 the one I need its the rear one. I have been all over and no one has one that goes from flex hose to 2 brake lines. Quote
Don Coatney Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 I am not sure if trucks are set up the same as cars but in a car application the rear splitter is attached to the differential housing using a special fastener as pictured below. This fastener doubles as the vent for the differential gear case. I don't think you will find this special splitter at just any auto parts store. 1 Quote
wayfarer Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 ...without digging around in the shop for a sample I'll suggest that the t and the vented bolt are much the same, if not in appearance then in function, as any 60's Mopar. Quote
wildwilf Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 So far from what I have found out is up to 1978 they all looked the same. just not sure if the holes for the lines and the flex hose are the same. Quote
The Oil Soup Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 I can send you the one off my B4B as I just swapped it with a cherokee axle. Just pay for the postage. Gary Quote
