Yes, just like it looks, no body or paint work. Replacing the glass, brakes w/disc brakes, dual master, rebuilt 218, dual carbs on a stock intake 12v conversion and a few other misc things. I can paint at a later date if I want to. Just want to drive it as it is. It's been 34 years since it was last registered to drive.

It took me many years too, since 1986, before I got my 38 on the road.

It needs a lot of body work and paint, that I like to do in the winter

if not too cold like last winter, but it is at least driveable.

Enjoy....

Progress being made.  Engine/trans back in the car.  Front end tore down and inspected, reassembled with disc brakes.  New king pins, tie rod ends and more.  Dual Carter B&B carbs rebuilt and installed.  Dual reservoir master cylinder and brackets -ECI.  Few pictures….

Stock intake modified for dual carbs!

Looks like a George Asche setup. You might consider doubling up the air filters. I found the single filter with the Helmet cover restricted the air flow considerably. I used the cleanable flexible filters pictured below.

I have read that Don about the small ones.  I'm not sure if I'll be using those or not.  For now, keeps the dust out.  I may go to a little bit larger air filter set up with different housings.

That's one great looking car.  "Unfinished" as it is, it'll be a hoot to drive and maybe you'll never get'r done  :o

Nice looking ride, I'd drive it as is.  What disc brakes did you use for the front?

Brackets are from rusty hope.  It the parts he recommends to use on his parts list, Volare discs, GM metric calipers and the rest of the parts.  Went together nicely.  They are for the later model 3 hold spindles.  I had a set of spindles so I used them instead of my 4 hole spindles.  I knew they were interchangleable.  The other part(s) I needed to use from the later models were the steering arms.  The ones from my 41 had a different bolt to bolt measurement.
