Norm's Coupe Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 After reading a thread by Donald I decided to try my hand at making a PDF file everyone could copy/print off. It's the complete Sams Sheet for the 802 Radio, with diagrams, tube numbers, capacitor numbers, etc. and wiring diagram. Since I'm not familiar with making PDF files there are two blank pages in it. Nothing is missing from the brochure though. Don't know how I got the blank pages in there but I'm not going to take them out. If you want to print them off, go to this link. http://www.indfloorcoating-repair.com/802%20Radio%20Facts.PDF It's a large file so if you are on dialup it may take you about 5 or 10 minutes to download the whole file. It prints off as good as the original, whereas it may be a little blurred on your screen. Total pages are 8 but there are only 6 pages of information. FOR GTK IF YOU'RE READING THIS: If you want to transfer it to your technical pages feel free. Then let me know and I'll delete my page. If you want the original scans I can email them to you. Quote

Mario Loya B1B Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Is the Motorola CR6 radio the same as the MoPar 802? Quote
Guest P15-D24 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Probably Sunday as I'm going to a Dodger game Satureday with my father in law. Thanks for making the copies. Quote
rearview Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 I can chop those blank pages out tomorrow at work before you post it into the archives Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted June 15, 2007 Author Report Posted June 15, 2007 Is the Motorola CR6 radio the same as the MoPar 802? Yes, If you read the print just below the picture on page one it tells you it's the Motorola 802 radio. Says it 46 - 47 but the same radio was used in the 48's and first series 49 models. Think the only difference in the models was the looks of the face and knobs. My 48 has the same radio except for the face and knobs. Quote

Gerald, Thanks to you and Ed. I'll leave them up there until you tell me you've grabbed them. If you and Ed give me the link, I'll just put a link on that page to where ever you guys put them on your sites, saying the page has moved there. Actually, guys I know how the extra blank pages got in there. Didn't realize they were there until I uploaded the file. I just didn't want to take the time to remove them after that. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Thanks Norm...I have a couple of these radios about the place...have printed a copy..much obliged. Quote
rearview Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Edited copy at http://www.zpsusa.com/802%2520Radio%2520Facts.pdf (no blank pages) Norm, let me know when you grab a copy and I'll delete this one Quote
Ed Griffin Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 I tried to download this first off and got a Adobe update choice from version 6 to 7 the other day. Took over 5 hours and when I woke up it apparently failed. Now trying to download the last link and get a blank page. Did You already move it and can it be found on Norm's site without the blank pages now? Really think this is some good info to have at hand when I make a go at it to repair my radios. Think it's great to have the capaciter numbers since many you cant make out the color bars any more to get the correct numbers. Quote

If you've got dialup it will be blank until it is done downloading the 2.5Mb file before it opens Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted June 15, 2007 Author Report Posted June 15, 2007 Ed, If you're on dialup like me, it will probably take at least around 10 minutes to download it. Took me that long to load it. That's why I didn't want to remove the two blank pages. Like Bob said it's about 2.5 MB. You will get a blank screen until it's finished downloading at least the first page. You can use Bob's (rearview) link without the blank pages, but it's the same size file and will take just as long to download. Quote
Bob_Koch Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 If you want the owners and installation booklet that came with the original radio you can find that one the dodge pilot-house website http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/know.htm Scroll down and find the Model 802 Radio section. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 I think everything is running super slow on my end. Tried waiting for it and still nothing but also noticed regular pages are loading slow and it is Friday. It did finally come around and load the Adobe Reader ver 7 that apparently did download other day but not open. Now when I open the link to the pdf it says " Adobe Reader- Cannot use Adobe Reader to veiw PDF in your browser. Reader will now exit. Please press refresh button in your browser to start Acrobat." Tried that and same thing popped up each time. I thought Acrobat and Adobe Reader were same thing. Who knows. Will prob wait till traffic slows and see if thats the problem. Thanks for the tip, Ed Quote

AOL's running extra slow anyhow and I am still on dial up so I'll wait til later and see if I can make it a 10 min download unstead of 30 minutes lol. Bob Koch, thanks for the heads up, will have a looksee Quote
