Metro Rubber Nice Guys!

There right down the road from me.  I haven't check lately for any new P-15 parts added to their inventory.  They carry some fasteners and they used to carry miscellaneous NOS parts.  I bought my first service manual there and two oil filters.

They might be nice guys, but they were not much help to me today, and they got no sale over the phone.

I asked for windshield rubber and back window rubber for my 1955 C series truck.

The phone rep told me to identify it in there universal rubber section. Great help, NOT, I don't have this rubber out, and the window rubber they have, some are very close in style and shape.

You would think a company would have a part number spec to identify there weatherstrip rubber off the roll. Not impressed...sorry

I think it all boils down to an emplyee's personality.  We've all run into surly people in all walks of life.  Unfortunately, these type of employees put a bad mark on their employer's business.  I'd have to think that if you got the fella who sent me the rubber sample from an email, he'd have been a lot more helpful to ya.  Just a guess.
