Hey Tim, I thought that I had a set down at the shed. So are you going to pick them up from my place or should I drop them over?  :D

Why you gotta live so far away?

If you are gong to modernize it to be a dependable hauler, and were going with new gauges, ac, heat vents, steering  ect  With the cost of buying everything separate, and fabbing into place. I can see where this would be a real big savings. not to mention it looks great  the only draw back I can even see is get the newest dash you can get that still fits the same, because the are know to crack over time, then protect it. (Have a PT cruiser) When you add up all you would buy to achieve the same look and function you can't beat it.

True...those plastic (abs) dashes are prone to cracking.....guess I could adress that in the build....or just take care of what I get. :P

It might actually be better off mounted in the dodge truck, because it is not all the way to the very front of the window glass and some of the original dash is there for support in the weak spot, they did not seam to crack due to a thin material dash surface it was because the heat expand and contract was fighting against the way it was mounted in cruiser
