ggdad1951 Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 thought I'd post this here as some of you aren't on Facebook. I plan on getting this for my TODD project at some point in the near future, they even have a delay system if you want to add that as well as a washer kit! http://www.jplstreetrods.com/index.php?route=product%2Fproduct&product_id=637 Quote
41/53dodges Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I think these came up before, but I remember em costing more... looks pretty sweet though! Let us know how it works out! Quote
1952B3b23 Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Thanks for posting this. I think I'll be getting one of these at some point for my 4bt swapped '52 B3b. While on the subject of 12 volt motors... Any one know if one would be available for a truck heater? I'm not totally sure what model heater I have, I'll have to try and look that up. Thanks -Chris Quote
1952B3b23 Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 To edit my last post the heater model that I have is a 504. -Chris Quote
41/53dodges Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 I have the fresh air heater, forget the model but the core is under the hood and blower inside the cab. I got lucky enough to have a 12v motor laying around from an old GM van that bolted straight in. Could visit an old electronics store and find a motor to make it fit. Quote
1952B3b23 Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Yup that's how this one is in my truck too, it's a model 504. By any chance do you remember what GM van that was? Thanks -Chris Quote
41/53dodges Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Can't say I do, it was likely 80s-90s though, a guy gave it to me in a pile of stuff Quote

When I pull it out of the truck I can take it to a place like Napa and they can help me match it up to something. -Chris Quote
41/53dodges Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 That should work, just an fyi I think the 3 bolt plate seperates from the motor with 2 screws, or something along those lines. Good luck, and let us know what you find! -4153dodges Quote
