arado Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 I am deep into my 48 project coupe. I replaced all hydraulic cylinders, lines/hoses. I installed replacement trunk floor, front fenders, shocks, toe panel, The wiring has been butchered. I am removing all of it and will make a new harness. I will employ LED lights, single wire alternator, 12 volt battery, transistor radio and electronic ignition. The car wil look stock. I keep the 6 cylinder. I mig welded the rear fenders on to the body. I bought midnight blue lacquer to paint it, in hand rubbed finish. I am building a driver, not concours...... 1 Quote

I am working on it as I work on the 48 Plymouth. Makes more fun.. the hard top I already had. .The rust is not as bad as it looks. The body is structually sound.
