Todd B Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I am restoring an old set of playground horses. They have what appears to be 4 rubber tubes around a square tube like a torsion system on some trailers. The way they are designed there is no way without grinding apart the base to get the rubber replaced. Can I soak them in something to soften the rubber. They are so stiff the horses don't rock. Thanks Todd Quote
ggdad1951 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 I used some stuff called Aero something or other and it rejuvinated the spring stops on FEF very well! I'll look for the full name over lunch. Quote
JerseyHarold Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 You can try silicone spray or Armiorall in large doses. I've heard that will soften things up. Quote
