I recently purchase a 1948 Special Deluxe 2-door sedan.  When pulling out the interior, which was in pretty bad shape, I made the unfortunate discovery that the front floor pans are pretty badly rusted.  Also, the rocker panel on the passenger side is pretty rusted through the top.

Does anyone know where to find some good (and cheap) floor pans?  I checked with the Plymouth Doctor, but his are a little too much for me at this time.  Is he the only option and I just need to save up before I tackle the floor, or are there others?

Also, and this may be a dumb question, is it possible to use Dodge D24 floor pans in the P15?  I know they are very similar bodies, but are they close enough to make it work.  I found more D24 floor pans than I have P15.

Any help would be great.

Dodge is wider and other shape attributes. Some panel suppliers are quite expensive but from the very mouths of the end users..you get you  pay for is their every reply.   making sections and welding them in is quick and easy...the inside will be hidden by the floor covering..beneath will be a bit of a touch up if your weld is messy, but then once painted and under coated who is to know.   There are seller on the internet and you can find them using search..panels are a bit cheaper but I will advise that they are not exact fit and will require some rework on the average for you to use them...but if you do not have fabrication tool but simple repair tools you may well get by using these..at least the basic form is there and the metal is new.

Just curious, how much does the Plymouth Doctor want for his P15 floor pans??

Toe Board - $475

Front floor pan extension - $190 each

Main cabin floor - $188 each

Drive shaft tunnel - $145
