Front Spings/ rear shackles.......The driver side frame mount should be left thread  and pretty tough to get loose.

jack up the frame...get the weight off the shackle....and grease and soak the bushing.....then wiggle back and forth to free up the bushing.

You might have to get tough with it (breaker bar) but by all means take your time to work it loose.

Front bolts are a straight forward removal....basically a big bolt.

Jack stand the frame....block the axle to reduce weight on the spring mounts.

Definitely soak them with good penetrating fluid for a while.  I had to use my largest breaker bar with a cheater pipe on the end to break one of them loose.  On another one, it was so frozen that the shackle snapped.

Hope yours aren't as bad as mine were.

Id say when you go and buy the new shackles id get them from "Rare Parts" thats where i got mine for front and rear suspension ('52 B3b) and they're good quality and made in the USA. NAPA autoparts now sells the rare parts brand too.
