Is it going to be a problem that they list the engine serial on the title for the serial number on the truck and I am planning an engine swap? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Quote
41/53dodges Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 In my case, the officer simply signed off on a sheet of paper stating the VIN from the truck, basically saying that this title really goes to this number instead of an engine number. Then the DMV basically makes a whole new title that matches the number on your VIN tag, thus making it the same as registering any other vehicle from then on Quote
