I went to The Sully show for fathers day. I had such a great time. I saw one of our members Jim. We talk for a while to catch up. Jim has been doing a lot of things to his car. He work very hard to get the car to the show. I went over to see Jim's car and took notice of his story board. It's fantastic. I had never seen it before. I need one like it for my car. I will have to ask Jim about it the next time I am with him. There lots of cars there and one car that I flipped over...1932 Plymouth 3 window coupe.

It was great seeing and talking to Rodney at the show. Here is my picture of him with his Studebaker.

Looks like fun. Was Chet there? I have not heard from him for a good while.

Hi Don, Jim, Greg & Rodney,

I wanted to attend the show but I have been a little under the weather since the end of last year.   I have been doing a drug therapy for the last 20 weeks which has left me extremely tired.  The drugs kill off my Red & White blood cells as well as the bad stuff with a couple of other side affects.  So I guess the old saying that the cure will kill you is pretty accurate.   The good news is that the drugs have worked their magic and I have 4 more weeks to go and hopefully return to normal.  Can you imagine I haven't had a beer since October of 2012.  On Fathers Day my daughter gave me a German Non-Alcoholic Beer, man did it taste good.  Also haven't had a cigarette in the past 9 months.

Rodney & Jim I would have enjoyed catching up but will have to wait to next time.  Jim I am glad you have been enjoying your car.

Hey Chet, I was wondering what was going on with you. Glad you are recovering. yes, Greg it would be nice to get you guy's back out here. The show was great. It was a little over cast, when it started to drizzle everyone acted like their cars where made of salt. The wife and I got tired so we left at about 2 o clock. That trip to York PA took a lot out of us. we still have not recovered. There was a car at the show that I was very interested in. 1966 Pontiac 2+2 convertible. There is one in my mechanics yard that the guy left there 6 years now. I would love to rebuild it. This would be a great addition. I am only dreaming

Rodney your car at Sully made it to the Studebaker Truck Talk forum.  There was a guy there with a mint green 57 Studie Pickup.  He must have been taken your your's as he put three pictures of it on his blog page.  You can access the forum by searching Studebaker Truck Talk,  The posting's are newest on the bottom, so scroll down to near the bottom.

Chet,

Sorry you couldn't make it to the show but glad to hear your health is improving. I still would like to see your '48 one of these days.

I think we should all chip in and buy Rodney a new non furd T-shirt.....

Hey Don, That shirt was a gift from a very good friend. My biggest dream is to have a Model A coupe traditional hot rod with...you guessed it a flat head ford motor.
