I did something real dumb. I had the ring that holds the fuel tank sending unit in my 53 Plymouth laying in the console of my Dodge dually. I sold the dually. I didn't get the ring out of the truck.  When I remembered my screwup, I called the buyer and it had been cleaned out.

If anyone has a ring from a tank that isn't usable, or just a ring they won't use, I'd gladly pay for it.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing there is a broad range of years and cars (and probably trucks) that would fit it.

Thanks,

Gene

I know that the '63 D200 I had used a locking ring to hold the sending unit on the tank. How long did they use that ring and did it change over the years?

That is great!  Add some money to whatever I'm going to owe you for those other parts and it'll be like Christmas when they get here!

At the rate we are going it will be Christmas by the time you get them...my fault of course!

I'll check with NAPA this week.

And, 54Illinois, I'm taking it apart now to sandblast the body, so the parts aren't that time critical. I do want them, though!

Thanks.
