Are the DeSoto Club Coupe seats the same as the Plymouth Special Deluxe? I'm wanting a budget friendly way to re upholster the seats and found some canvas covers that might work but they are for the Plymouth.

my Dodge (sister to the DeSoto) has wider seats than the Plymouth..maybe someone here has had a similar experience or maybe a the answer you want to hear..I have the 47 dodge, 41 Dodge (two) and three P15's

NOW....I will add to this statement...can it be done......the answer is yes...they can be put in..snug fit..the seat frames have inside and outside bolt holes on the mount base...on the Plymouth you use one set of holes..the Dodge the other..the seat is a bit wider...I do have a set of D24 seats in a 47 Plymouth 4 door....it is not right..but it can be done...the average person would not know the difference...further..Dodge door panels are a bit larger also..will not work without some mods, one will have to remove and trim.....the door and window crank holes will align..you can tranfer the material of the Dodge to the Plymouth...lots of work..but if you come across an wreck D24 with good interior..a bit of work can net you some seats and panels...I found a nice interior in a D24 and got the car just for the interior...
