I had a 36 Chevy pick up with interior door handles that were the same as (I don't remember the exact year - but early) a Corvette. I also think, if my poor old failing memory serves me, that the Cord also had hiding headlights. My Plymouth has a starter button - I have a Mini Cooper that starts with a button. What do they say "Everything old is new again." You're right about the headlights on the Cord Don, and if my increasingly porous memory serves me, it was the first American car to be so equipped. One of my favorite features on our P15's and D24's is that starter button. Here's lookin' at you, kid! The glamorous style of this car is increased considerably by the optional "Fifth Avenue" trim package. Absolutely stunning, innit?
