Oil Drain Plug Gasket 1947 P-15 6 cyl.

Having completed a correct frame off restoration of a 1947 P-15 Special Deluxe, I have been dismayed I can't seem to locate a copper oil drain plug gasket.  The only ones I find are non-metallic.

Does anyone know where I could find one?

Thank you,  Larry

Lowes and Home Depot both have them in the specialty hardware bins IF that location has a good buying agent. Not all stores carry the same product. You can also usually find them in the misc blister pack hardware section of your local generic auto parts store. Normally on the turnable round racks, close to the metric bolts or trim fasteners. If ou know your SAE to Metric Conversions, it's pretty easy to get the right one... 1/2"=13mm, 9/16"=14mm, 11/16"=17mm... it should be one of those shank sizes.
