Barry Maxwell Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Although I am still at the rolling chassis stage of the restoration of my '51 B3C, I decided to bite the bullet and have the seat, door panels, arm rests, and sun visors reupholstered at a local upholstery shop. It took more $$$ than I estimated (it always seems to be that way with me), I am very pleased with the result. Unfortunately, it will be a long time before I am able to install them. Barry Quote
austinsailor Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Those look really nice. I had just the seat done a couple years ago in a similar fabric. I had bare springs, no stuffing or anything and it was $400. I thought a bit high, but the job was a real good one. Quote
Jeff Balazs Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Barry; Those look real sharp. You are correct ....... everything cost's more and take's longer than we expect. Hang in there you will get it all done. Jeff Quote
Apittslife Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Looks like a nice job! I am atleast 18 - 24 months out before I even think about my interior. Quote
