OT what is this?

I have been fixing my grandfathers shed these past weeks and have found some gret antique tools and jacks. The device I am about to show you is something that I have never seen before hopefully you can tell me what this is, hopefully!

Any wire connections on it anywhere?? Looks like a hand cranked dynamo. They used ot be used for powering field phones and radios in the military. You'd connect it to a devise, and have some unlucky soul crank the handle to make the power.

could you jump a car with it? No wires were connected tha I saw.

This one is a mystery? maybe some sort of indexing device for cutting of threads. What happens when you crank it? Looks sort of like a dowel jig. Just a wild guess.Eric

Here you go Don, I did not see a name on it however it is soaking now and I will clean it in a couple of days. I have tried to turn the wheel however it is stuck right now.
