A reminder......Springfield, MO swap meet.....

.....this weekend (Aug 17 & 18) at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in

Springfield. Not far off I44 and Highway 13 exit. Parking costs

$5 on the grounds. Usually more "other" stuff than old Mopar,

but you never know what might turn up.

Planning to go at the present time.

(Mentioned the swap in another post, but thought it worth giving it

a separate notice.)

we are in the middle of our dry spell here as far as swap meets go..November is the month for my area..you lucky..good luck on your walkabout..buy plenty of stainless gas caps..they getting scarce it seems..

the very price you have listed above will scare the average person..it does me..!!! I hit the swaps and grab these for a few bucks each and polish them up..I have a few for my cars,,couple spares in case I get forgetful..I said a 30.00 mistake..you lisitng your entry at 40-45 dollar not including shipping....OUCH

30-40 bucks for a gas cap? I paid $35 for my first P-15 and drove it for two years. Now I'm really feeling old.

Went to the Springfield swap yesterday. Didn't see very many of those

gas caps. One guy had some for $5, but I couldn't tell if they were

vented or not. Didn't buy one.

All I could find of interest to me was one headlight ring, one parking

light bezel, one nice dome light lense, plus an extra frame for one with no

glass. For $10 total. Also bought some generally useful small items,

nothing car specific. Spent total of $26. Wish there had been more

but this is pretty typical of old Mopar findings nowadays.

Weather was not so bad this year - high temps only in the 80s.
