i'm really curious what you say when the distributor arrives...

always interesting to see what ebay-folks define as "rebuilt".

crossing my fingers here!

i bought another spare here on monday, later model chrysler.

Thanks Fred, I'm interested what it looks like in person too. We'll see, I guess. Maybe you should come see it yourself. Look like we're having a get together on the 12th at my place. You get the plane ticket and I'll provide room and board!:D

Hey Fred, I got your distributor yesterday. Looked it over and put it on the machine. Looks a lot better than the pictures on ebay. Came up with a perfect 38 degrees of dwell, and no blurry lines that could mean point bounce or bad points. Mechanical advance is good. Even the vacuum advance seems to be right on the numbers. Looks like it would run right from the box. I'll order the replacement parts for you to have today.

John, probably around noon would be good. Talk to Mark and see when he's coming.

happy happy joy joy.

that sounds a lot better then i had dared to hope!

just email me when you have everything in the box and i call you.

my friend here was really relieved when he heard i could just order

the bushings and he wouldn't have to fabricate them for me...

and now please go out there and shoot some nice footage of your engine on the road ;)

Everybody asked for it so here it is!

Tried to have it so you could read the tach and speedo, but it was a little dark inside. Anyway, those are shifts at around 4000, and I shut it down around 70. Man, it's fun!:D

Thanks. It goes just fine. Probably could beat a lot of V8 flatheads:cool:
