48Dodger Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 (edited) I'm not sure how many of you who belong to DPETCA have read the message from our Prez, Bob Koch: http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/prez/prez.htm "February, 2012: Having started a new job I have found myself with no time to work on the website as I spend almost 4 hours each day commuting. . I am not able to send out calendars this year (which I produced, assembled and mailed all by myself previously ), nor maintain the members list. I will continue to keep this website going, and add new content and time and money provides. So, I guess we can look at this time as a pause in the life of DPETCA. As other people step forward I'm sure we'll continue to grow this wonderful organization." I would like to offer my time to the current stituation and see if I can help keep the ship afloat. Bob is a hard worker and a personal friend of mine. I respect his skill and knowledge of putting together a site like DPETCA. I also respect members of the this club, and want to say that my effort is not to be the "new prez", but rather lighten the load for the present one. I also feel the "position" should be approved at some level, so if there are any objections and/or concerns about my involvement, discussing it here would benefit us all. If you don't understand the relationship between the "club" and "forum": http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=26918 Timothy A. Merle Coggins Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 I vote Tim for Vice Prez. I can certainly understand Bob's situation and as long as he's willing to share the load it can only benefit the club. This also reminds me that my membership renewal will be due soon. Merle Quote
HanksB3B Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Wow a 4-hour commute for Bob at his new job. Hey Bob it's not a DPETCA rule that says: The President of DPETCA must only drive a Chrysler Corp. vehicle produced between 1929 and 1955 is there? Hank P.S. Good luck in your new job. Go Tim! (let me know if you need any help) Quote
