I used 'OGDEN CHROME" out of Odgen Utah, did a good job for me on my bumper for my '69 Cutlass.... really big bumper and it cost $400 including shipping both ways, and it was over the holidays and it was done 3 weeks

Where do you guys suggest that I send small parts to get chrome. For example door handels?

Thanks Carmen

it doesnt pay to chrome a door handle buy nos ones, for cheaper. chroming small detailed parts isnt the best because a ton of detail is lost from pitting and from the stripping process of the chrome on the handles.

just got my first batch back from my local guy. All in all he did a terrific job I think.

that lot was $1200 for all the chroming and polishing of SS and nickle.

I do vintage motorcycle restorations and frquently use a chome plating shop here in Tucson. (Royal Plating) If you paid $ 1,200 to have just the parts pictured here plated/polished that job was incredibly expensive regardless of the quality. Just my opinion based on my experience.

I would like to have done the 4 Hub Caps, the 4 outside door handles, the 4 inside door handles and the 4 window handles. WOW I better start saving my money.

that also included the repairs of the pot metal which was very pitted, if it is still spendy you should share your plating shop to help us all out!
