Sam, now you are getting personal! ::D Maybe I shouldn't have cut up the other one I had to fill that middle spot! But what you might really want is the green carpet. When they replaced the original indoor carpet they offered these for a donation. This 'holy grail' came from the 50 yard line area! I made that corner desk for my grandson. Now he quickly finishes his homework so he can get to his "boy cave" where he works on his spelling. FUN! Put it on your screen saver to see a few more NE momentos.

and I bet your drivability issues all go away. Sounds like a bit of a blotched conversion job with the other carb. B&B carbs work great and are super simple to rebuild and maintain.

If you still have your old throttle return spring then you can measure its spring constant (k), which is a measure of the springs stiffness therefore affecting the tension of the spring. Knowing "k" you can then go to McMaster-Carr or some other similar vendor and pick out one thats the right stiffness and length. If you or anyone would like to know how to determine the spring constant, just say the words and ill be happy to explain it.

Good Luck,
