I am posting this in the sections that I think the most people will see it. I am fitting the front end the truck back together and need a part that I am missing. I have a 1953 Dodge truck pilot house truck. Progress has been going well but I have come to a stop because I am missing a much needed piece. It is the part that sits at the rear of the fender that ties the fender to the running board to the frame. Here is a picture of the one on the passenger side. I NEED the one on the DRIVERS SIDE. Does anyone have and extra one or one that I can purchase. Thank you everyone for your help!

good luck, I was trying to find a replacement for my swiss cheesed one, but Dave got mine fixed up good. Making one would be easy except for the bead on the perimiter. I have mine off and could send you a trace.

I think they are the same, at least the parts book has them the same.

Mine prior to metal work:

I tried to send you a private message but your inbox is full and it will not allow me to send another. I will gladly purchase the drivers side piece if it is available and hope that it is the same. Are you able to send it express. I will gladly pay you for the part and the shipping (overnight would be great). I will take the chance that the part is the same. If not I will make the part available to someone else who may need it. Thank you.
