Jay Leno's Mopar feature

Jay Leno has a video feature on a Mopar show in California. I thought it was interesting but I do question the "203" in the 1950 Desoto.

The Dodge is beautiful. But the neat thing is Jay Leno seems like a normal person. He seems like the kind of guy you could sit down and have a beer with and just talk about old cars. There's not a lot of us left.

I don't really get a chance to talk about cars. All the guys where I work know about is sports. Never have been into sports.

I've seen pictures of that siren in the past (I think someone posted a video of one) and whenever I see it the first thought that comes to mind is, "Bless you, Mr. Rosewater". Anybody else do that?

i know that feeling,,living near philadelphia,,,giant sports town,,,no one where i work is really into cars,,,old or hot rods,,a few like exotic cars,, but just for the bling,,,

I have a friend in our Dallas Mopar Club that was on Monster Garage. One of the other countenance was Jay Leno's mechanic. He asked Bob if he would like to see Jay's garage after the show was taped. They went over there and were looking around when Jay came in. The talked a bit and then Jay invited him out for lunch. They took Jay's 53 Chry. Convertible. He said Jay was as nice as could be. The show he was on was converting a Semi into a 3 wheel cycle. He said Jesse James was a a@# hole.
