Stopped by, with Jim Shepard, to see John-T-53 and his T5 tranny. This was on September 8th, before his parade trip and our junkyard trip. I brought him a set of front springs in exchange for a ride in his truck. I dont have an original standard tranny in my truck and haven't driven one either. I've ridden in Jim's 50 truck and Tim's from San Jose. I can tell you, it was a fun ride! Second time around the block, John let me drive. I took it on the freeway and hit 60 plus with ease. Driving back into his driveway, with Jim watching, I chirped the tires...lol...Oh well. John showed us his sweet 55 Chevy and took us to an old school hamburger joint....awesome day. John and I couldn't convince Jim to drive it, but went on a ride and admired the hard work.:D

Thanks Tim and Jim, glad you guys came over and were able to see the town. Nice shots of the compound!

I'm happy my truck was the one you learned to drive stick in...but haven't been able to get my seat belt cinched tight since! LOL

Anyways, thanks for bringing the springs. I'm gonna tackle that project soon enough... still recovering from the parade, though...
