Langdon carb stuff

I placed an order for carburetor mounting hardware with Tom Langdon two days ago. It arrived today. I am impressed. There was more hardware (nuts and bolts) than will be required for this upgrade. I also cleaned the carburetors externally in preperation for installation. This install may happen before Tulsa.

Looks like nice stuff, quick also. I ordered som phenolic spacers from Tom when I did my installation, I believe I had them in 2 or three days also. He good to deal with. Sooooooo.....whadareya gonna doo with your current linkage form George????? If you have no plans, I am interested, as my cobbled hardware store stuff needs an upgrade.

Pete has his engine open and doin' mods (hidin' em behind a supposed problem wink wink) and Don is upgrading his race engine.... hummm wish I could be goin' to Tulsa to watch the big race...... I think both of em are worried bout what the other can do.....

Uh, Don.....I thought I had better mention, that carb in the middle, the nice newer looking one, It don't work...use the other two...you should be getting your siamesed helmets in a day or two ...nice of you to offer yer throw aways to Gegg...he needs all the help he can get.....jb

Already figgured out the third carburetor was not in use for what ever reason.

I know how Greg struggles so offering him up parts is a pleasure:D :D

PO, PO Pityful ME!!!! Since when did I become a favored cheritable contribution???? The aluminum helmets arrived today. Thanks! I will use the base plates and fabricate something on top. Had a chance to unwrap and inspect the hardware (nuts and bolts) that came with the Langdon adaptors. I am sure these adaptors are sold somewhere as a bubble pack "kit" as the nuts and bolts as well as the adaptors were in bubble wrap. Problem is the bolts that come with the kit are too short. They are 1" and need to be 1 1/4". I will stop at the hardware store on the way home from work tomorrow and get what I need.
