1392487 is the C-Series part# out of the parts book.

I could not find any supercedence or cross over on this 1392487#. I do think that the C- Series frames are made different than the B-Series trucks and are formed different from the cab forward. The bolt hole spacing is the issue.

Still looking for a replacement front bumper for my '53 B-4-B pickup. The PN is 1272570. Can anyone tell me the PN for the C-series pickup front bumpers?

Thanks!

If a B3B front bumper will fit I've got a relatively straight one available, has a slight twist to it but in overall nice condition.

Not sure how to go about checking to see if it would fit.

This is the bumper that I was going to post pictures of the other day, but we had some wildfires, and other things come up (lost power that same day), and I didn't get it done. I cleaned the old welds off of the bumper and took the ruffles out of the edges, and bumped the few dents that were in it back out. I went ahead and put some primer and black paint on it, as I had to take it down to bare in several spots, and weld a few cracks at the edges of a couple of the holes, thus it needed to be kept from rusting. Grandad had welded some big heavy channel iron vertically to make some farm "bumperettes", and the old farm welds were dang near burned clean through, it seemed, but I got them ground back off. This bumper, due to a serious run in to something with one of the welded on uprights, also has a slight twist, like the other poster mentioned, but you would have to be able to see both sides at once to tell it after it's bolted on. It's not perfect, but it's a pretty decent "driver". I do not know if it will help you at all, but if it does it would be great, as I do not need it, and if you don't need it either, anyone that could use can contact me about it. Joel

I was able to locate a very good one which I have agreed to buy. Thanks for your effort. Sooner or later someone will need yours.
Great, glad you were able to find a nice one. I gave this one I had to a guy that is going to use it on a Studebaker pickup. Joel
