Rocker molding help

Guys, I need a favor. I installed new rockers on my car and need to relocate the holes for the molding clips. Could someone who has the molding off their car take some measurements for me? I need the following:

1) Number of holes per side

2) Height and width of holes

3) Top to bottom orientation of holes (measurement above top of hole to edge of rocker and bottom of hole to bottom edge of rocker)

4) Center to center measurement of holes

5) Maybe a close picture of the side of your car without the molding

I know this is a lot to ask but I'd appreciate any help.

it doesnt say so on the page.... But mine has 4 holes per side not including the ones in the front fenders. The measurements were from the back edge of the rocker. There was a gap just big enough to put the end of the tape measure into so it should be really close.

If you take the rocker molding to a good auto supply paint store they should have a books and also example of clips.

Get clips to fit the moulding and since you have installed new rockers and there are no holes then can make your holes in the rocker the size that is onthe clip. Also Plastic is better since they do not rust.

I have used plastic on my 39 Desoto.

use the modern clips do not go old style also the people can not see the clips.

Great idea. I have not put any of my stainless back on yet. Maybe Ill try to find some plastic that will work too. The only drawback to the rocker moulding is that there is no way to get to the back side of the panel. If you want some original type clips there are a couple of sellers on ebay that have original style clips available but they will be metal. Im still figuring out what I want to use for clips since I havent even polished the stainless yet. I also dont know if after I put new panels in the bottom if I will put the lower stainless back on. I do know that I will be leaving it a satin black for now. Black and stainless look good.
