Trying to remove my manifolds for gasket replacement today & the only thing holding me up is that I can't get my exhaust separated for the life of me. I think I remember reading here that the pipe may go up in to the manifold. Is this the case? I really don't want to cut this thing if I don't have to, but that's about where I'm at with it.

Thank you,

Bryan

mine has about 1/4" of pipe that goes up into the manifold. You should be able to tell if your has it as well, right below the flange if it bumps out, I'd lay odds there is a short pipe pressed in the header pipe that goes up into the manifold.
