55 Fargo Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Hi all, today is Victoria Day(in Canada), or like many uis we call it May Long Weekend. Friday it was hot and sunny, then rainy, now cloudy and a cold front moving through. I had to get out and go for a ride, not a big deal, as a little drizzle won't hurt the car. Last Friday morning the county(Municipality up here), decieds to grade the road, which ws in decent shape, but the operator tells me, he has to cut the shoulders, and crown the road a bit. Well this road is in a dirtier worse mess than I have seen it, in a long time. I could drive my car way more often, but will not torture it, while it is raining or just afterwards, it would ruin this car in no time. Hvaing said this, my problems are small compared to folks like Bob Toft, Best Wishes to you and the Wife Bob, and I hope things get better real quick for you folks, my thoughts are with you today..... The pics, are Meadowdale Road, just off Hwy 9, near where I live...nothing special just farm land Quote
1940plymouth Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Fred, good photos as usual, drizzle here all day with temp in the upper 50's. I had the "Wayback Machine" out twice, but short trips, one to the store, then later on to the Post Office. Our Neon is in "Sickbay" getting new rear brakes, wheel cylinders and brake hoses. Thankfully I my youngest son is a good mechanic by trade:) Quote
