PatS.... Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Local Rod Shop held it's open house today. I wasn't able to attend but found these pictures posted by 60wagon on Photobucket. One unique Mopar, a Chrysler LWB sedan/limo. Here's the link for the rest of his album of pics. http://s892.photobucket.com/albums/ac127/60wagon/Rod%20Shop%20Show%202011/ Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 I see he's got him a late model radio antenna. Cool old Chrysler. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 I'd venture to say a late model GM drivetrain also by looking at the give away signs.. Quote
PatS.... Posted May 16, 2011 Author Report Posted May 16, 2011 I'd venture to say a late model GM drivetrain also by looking at the give away signs.. Like the Buick wheels?? Quote
YukonJack Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Like the Buick wheels?? Those are Magnum 500's, used on a variety of cars in the 60's including Mopars. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 I could not tell if they were GM or Mopar without a closer look but odds are most go with the GM..I do hope I am wrong..that was the reason to "venture" on a guess Quote
PatS.... Posted May 16, 2011 Author Report Posted May 16, 2011 I sure thought they were Buick wheels from the mid-size cars. I wasn't there and didn't see it so not sure. I don't care for flat black but I don't care for the crusher worse. It can be saved from flat black, but not from the crusher. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 louvered hood are always a big turn off for me...though I know each louver punched is X dollars..the look just is not worth the price...this weekend I saw the exact results of a louvered hood in relationship to rust and total destruction of a set of forward mounted hinges and the hood itself..just plain sickening..this was on a car that is just about impossible to find replacement parts for to begin with..ough to have their butt removed..
