Here you go, anyone who wants to here my car run and drive on a gravel road in winter temp about 10 above.

I shot this by myself, and had to hold the camera, and shift gears and steer at the same time. I just uploaded this onto You Tube.

Fred,

Like Niel said, plus I keep hanging around here not just for the camaraderie but to see pictures and hear tales and see videos like yours. Thanks.

I've seen everything on your beautiful dashboard before from your pictures but this is the first time I noticed your compass. Is there a story behind it or is it there because it fits well?

Glad you Guy enjoyed the video clip, not the greatest but gives an idea of what my car is about.

Randy The compass was a gift from the 1 and only Aero3113, and it fits well, but my GPS does the guiding if need be.

Updated my signature video with this video I shot today. Looking forward to a summer driving video, hopefully sooner than later....

Fred the 47 sounds great, I think with a little valve adjustment it will get rid of the ticking sound you have.

I figure the same Keith, unless something else is wrong, such as a broken valve spring. Sometimes I think the noise is the fuel pump, but probably no such luck....

Right on...Thanks for the vids.

I really enjoyed those, makes me want to get going on ol' Fernando. But I'm out for a few weeks with me blowing out my back.:(

Hope you recover quickly Brian, and I look forward to see your project running too.....

Thanks for ride # 2, Fred. The old gal sure sounds good and nice to see it out in the winter.

Hey, when you take the trailer to the dump can you come take mine in too?? ;) Been on the front lawn all winter.

Fred, before I rebuilt my engine I thought the ticking sound was my fuel pump also. I am using the same fuel pump and the ticking is gone now. When you get a chance measure and adjust the valves that need it and you will be surprised at how quiet she will be.

I agree. The tick in your engine sounded just like mine before I adjusted the valves. I adjusted them with the engine running and as soon as I slid the feeler gauge into the loose one the tick went away. Adjusted it up and no more tick-tick-tick.

Thanx Merle and Keith, I figure it may be as you say, and will eventually get to it. Although it s sounds a bit noisy on video, will live with it for now....
