spark plug wire sets

Does anyone happen to have the brand/part# for replacement plug wire sets that will fit my '48 p-15 from someplace like auto zone, checker or NAPA

or another local and (hopefully) affordable source ?

Work well also, unless your are going for authentic, then braided cloth ones are out there, Roberts also has the mid 40's style with uisulated ends and a woven style insulator.

Ditto on the tractor supply wires. I put them on a couple weeks ago and they work just fine.

I especially like the angled 90 degree ends for the plugs.

Never have liked those with the straight ends.

Hey, Guys;

Thanks for all your help regarding replacement spark plug wire sets for my '48 P-15.

I finally found what I think will be just right at NAPA........Belden Max brand, NAPA part # 700127.......they come 8 wires to a box so there will be a couple of spares.

There's something else that's good to know. My parts book for my P-12 shows the exact length of all 6 spark plug wires. Maybe the 46-48's show the same thing.

Well now.......in the P15 parts manual it sez: one each of the following

lengths......21, 23, 24, (two) 25s, 34....in a pre made set with terminal

ends attached.

Length is a bit different if buying wire by the inch. 22, 22, 16, 18, 22. and 23. Plus you gotta buy the ends.
