First test run with my youngest son, he helped a lot with the car lately (and he is still young to step in the car backwards while lifting the front seat (no scratches))

Car started with one short push on the starter button.

Then the brakes needed to work a bit to smooth the (little) rust buildup and once that was gone the drive was smooth.

Always get a lot of attention here from the people along the roads, so driving is a lot of fun.

Then took my wife along and drove a couple of miles aswell.

Oil pressure stayed nicely over 40 when driving and just under 40 when idling (but I know it will drop when the engine heats up).

No smoke from the exhaust that was noticable.

Time for lunch and then a bit of work on the vent window and the molding (need to put the rubber in and then place the vent window in the molding).

The front rim and back rim have the same color , don't know why they come out so different ! The back shows the color the best.

John

Hey, John. That looks really fine. Should look even better with the trim back on. Glad it ran and stopped ok. The new tires look good, too.
