MarkAubuchon Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 While looking for parts for 1948 1/2 B1B, came across a great deal on a 1950. Builder lost interest in the project, all apart, lots of extra pieces, professionally rebuilt motor still on the shipping crate, extra motor, fenders, hoods etc. Happy to have it, but since I didnt take it apart not sure where all the parts go. Does anyone have a picture of how the inner fenders go togehter, and all oof the other pieces. It appears their are three parts, inner fender, two others, one that mounts to the frame and covers the firewall and the third piece not sure how that goes?????? Pictures or tech manual page Quote

Pictures or tech manual page I don't have the pics of when I did mine..but what I can tell you is to make sure you use some sort or rubber weatherstrip or something the seperate the metals from each other...I didn't and WOW...noise is impossible sometimes on the highway...I have to split mine all apart again this spring to do the motor, so when it goes back it will be done right. MarkAubuchon Posted February 24, 2011 Author Report Posted February 24, 2011 Nice piece, it answered a few questions. since I didn't take it apart, not sure of a few pieces, but now I know where everyting goes. On sunday, went to my man cave (where I keep my cars , 47 P15 Sedan, 49 P17 Business Coupe, and trucks, 1948 1/2 and my newest project 1950 1/2). When I bought the 1950 it was all apart 3 trailer loads of parts some for the 50 and others previous had accumulated. we laid everything out in piles and started putting it back together (50 has a few differnt peices than the 48) but its looking good. Thanks for the help Quote
