Tony WestOZ Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I can not deny that this car is in pretty good condition for its age, especialy here in Australia but this is just a bit to much. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230108088466&rd=1&rd=1 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Maybe..if I could pay using dog money!! Quote
Guest tagree01 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Seems very high, but I don't know how much that is in US $. Also, No feedback is a BIG red flag. I'd see the car in person and really get to know someone before buying from a new member. I have bought 3 cars off eBay, but they all came from people with established records of positive feedback. junkyardjeff Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 It looks like chrysler had things back asswards down there as it looks more like a plymouth then a dodge. Jeff Quote
Normspeed Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 For $35,000 they could have rolled it out and taken a photo of the rest of the car. Very nice though. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 It looks like chrysler had things back asswards down there as it looks more like a plymouth then a dodge. Jeff Jeff, Back then all export Dodges used the Plymouth body. All they did was change the name and emblems on the car. That's why you think it looks like a Plymouth. You would have to be a real serious collector to pony up that kind of money for a car in that condition. Quote
junkyardjeff Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Did the export plymouths use dodge bodies?. Jeff Quote

Phill Powell Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I'm glad I've kept my '39 now, I've been out of the loop for a couple of years & been amazed:eek: at the prices that some cars are going for. Some are just dreaming, others seem too cheap & sit for months. One thing that has always amazed me how underated Mopars are:confused: Quote
