Lee napa shows 3 levels of quality for my 48 but online seems to only have 1 for your car. They are expensive but lifetime guaranteed. I'd suspect they are usa made.

I checked with Rooster and they use Moog--the number is discontinued---I will check with Napa. Still would like to know what people think of Andy`s or Roberts tie rods.

BeBop , I probably have a pair of those that I would part with . American made NOS by Mopar . I remember that one is left hand thread and one right . It would be tomorrow before I can get a closer look at them . ( edit ) I have a pair of tie rod ENDS , not tie rods .

I recently purchased a pair of outer tie rod ends from Andy Bernbaum. Still coated with cosmoline (I think), and a perfect fit on the P15, although they did not include new castle nuts. I just cleaned up the old ones and reused them. All other pieces were there, including the grease fitting, tie rod clamp, bolt & nut. Both of mine were left hand thread, and identical units.

P1010032.jpg[/img] Lee , these are american made but not by mopar , the brand is Quality . The boxes say chrysler 1940 - 1948 , dodge 1940 - 1948 , plymouth 1940 - 1948 . One is left hand thread and one right . The largest threaded end measures 11/16 inches ( + or- a 32 nd of an inch ) . So probably your 1952 chrysler is too new .

Others have said that the boots were available at their local auto parts stores , perhaps on the ' help ' rack . A few phone calls might be in order .
Yes, I have seen them---they tend to be to thick and they buldge out when I tightened them up---got a race buddy checking into some thin neoprene style ones that may work.............Lee
