1952gary
Does anyone have a vendor source who supplies the filler moldings, the anti-squeak, and the seals around the fenders for the dodge trucks? I have contacted Roberts, VPW, and Steel and they do not provide these parts. The filler moldings are a priorty.
grey beard
Mack's Auto Parts and Dennis Carpenter, both vendors of early Ford stuff, both carry what yo need. It's nice and fat and easy to install and looks great IMHO. I have it in mine. Good Luck
Dennis_MN
Does anyone have a vendor source who supplies the filler moldings, the anti-squeak, and the seals around the fenders for the dodge trucks? I have contacted Roberts, VPW, and Steel and they do not provide these parts. The filler moldings are a priorty. I bought the fender filler that goes between the fender and the cab by the hood, from Roberts. It came in one piece and I had to cut it to fit and it was supplied with brass split rivets that I had no clue how to use. I pop riveted the pieces on. I used some vinyl weatherstripping from the hardware store for the bottom dirt seals. I couldn't find any source for that material but since no one would see it anyway, I used what I thought would work. By the way, when I cut the long fender filler, I didn't quite get it right so one side of the truck is a little short and I'm not about to take the front end off to again to correct that mistake. 1952gary
Thanks for the input on where to find filler pieces. Never realized ford fillers would work on Dodge trucks.
