tom'sB2B Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 I'm trying to find the source of my hesitation. With a strong ecceleration my truck will stall and with higher speeds and rpms my truck will sputter. I replaced the roter, cap, points, and rebuilt the carb. I looked down the carb and there seems to be plenty of fuel coming out when I accelerate. Quote
Dave72dt Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 I'd look at the advance mechanism on/in the distibutor, timing. points bouncing, worn distibutor bushings, weak coil. Quote
Harvey Tank Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 you might wont to replace the condensor. Quote
MBF Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 I'd also check to make sure you don't have some type of fuel delivery issue. Mike Quote
