Charlie Olson Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) I was just at the grocery store and saw they had the February 2011 Classic Car magazines, in stock. I opened one up and noticed the subscription discount voucher promo insert; which is offering a one year subscription to CC for $12, $1 per month. When I just now arrived home, I checked the subscription discount voucher insert in my own subscription copy, of the February 2011, CC; offering me, a loyal subscriber, a one year subscription for $18.95, which is a 57.9% mark up on the price offered to some one who happens to buy a magazine rack copy. I am definitely going to call them and ask if I can receive the $12 price, to renew. If you go to the store and want that particular mag at a good price, take out one of those mail in subscription forms. Dirty scoundrels, just trying to take my money. the $18.95 code is: CSBL211 the $12 code is: CNBL211 Charlie Olson, President, Wood Plymouth Car Club, membership: 1 Edited December 21, 2010 by Charlie Olson Quote

pflaming Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 I kept my subscription for two years then let it lapse. For my use I can go to Borders once a month, read it and go home. The articles are so advertising based and so technical that it did not interest me. What I get each day on this site is more than adequite and its about my style truck. Yet in all fainess I think it is the better magazine for the 'keep it stock' reader as well as the talented builder. Quote
