I believe this is that trucks owner Don. They are stored there while driving to prevent them getting from tangled in the steering wheel. While backing up proceed with great caution.

Thanks Reg;

That is pretty much what the receiver bag I saw looked like.

The wife and I purchased a Teardrop over the weekend. It’s a re-pop of an original 46 Kitt. We bought it from a guy in Lodgepole, NE who is into Chryslers (he had 2 beautiful black 54’s, and convertible and a 4 door sedan), but is in the business of restoring Model A’s. He looked all over the country for an original trailer, and found one in his own back yard in Bridgeport, NE. It needed total restoration, so while he was at it, he made patterns and built 6 new ones. So, now I have to figure out a trailer hitch for the 41, and wire up trailer lights. Now I’m anxious to go camping in it.

Great looking teardrop !

Just a thought on the BBQ ;)

We don't camp out on the island but would it not be great to have a mobile BBQ that size. Fill it up at home, light it and with the driving wind it might be all heated to perfection when you reach the beach.

No worries on the smoke while driving , most cars here smoke like a chimney!

I think my P15 smokes less than the average car here....

Finally took a few hitch shots. Hey excuse the rust and all. This stuff will all come off and be properly cleaned and painted on that glorious day when she goes to the body shop.

Mine looks like a home brew receiver but it's really solid. This came already installed on my 53 wagon. Someone with welding talent could really do better. There are 2 rear crossmembers on the wagon and both look factory, but you could easily duplicate something. The bolt through the bumper obviously wasn't shimmed properly with washers so it tweaked the bumper but this is under the license plate when flipped down.
