Frank M. Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Hi Lou. The frame would look the same,but Dodge had a shorter wheelbase than the Chrysler six and the De Soto in the fortys. I think all three of them used 11 inch brakes. At least I know Chry. and Des. did. Ply had their own frame. Chrysler New Yorker was 6 inches longer in wheelbase than 6 cyl. Windsor and De Soto and used 12 inch brakes as did Imperials. Frank Quote
