Just as Rodney did in much WARMER Maryland, I took the Plymouth out today for just over 50 miles, some rain, some snow, but a good time just the same.

As usuall I took the back roads and enjoyed the drive and scenery:)

Bob, I really like the lake in the background. I am not by any body of water like that. It makes the car look in it's time. I have to ask, your car must be running top notch. I love the back roads like anybody but you know it's hard to get help if the car stops. I guess the 1940 model year was good year:) mine always got me home or broke in the garage. My confidence is back and that's why I am driving it like I stole it keep the pic's comimg.:)

My guess is that is NY RT 55 and the body of water in the background is the Neversink Reservoir. A man made lake that flooded several towns and villages in its valley. It now serves as part of the water supply for NY City.

Next guess is NY Rt 55 along the Roundout Reservoir. A man made lake made from inpounding the water of Roudout Creek, again for NYC watersupply.

or maybe Paradise lake.

Greg, it is just across the Sullivan-Ulster county line on Rt 55. You are correct that it is the Rondout Res.

Rodney, the old thing runs good and is mechanically sound, but she is tired also, but keeps on going
