Plymouthy Adams Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 I got there bright and early on the first mrning..and even by late evening most the spots were not open..the few arrivals were not settting up and were in fact walking about themselves..I hope that this is not a sign of future events..what little I saw was common and very pitted body emblems..few generic good deals for those who customize..saw bloddyknuckles car but not Ron himself, I did go back to his car about 5 times chancing to meet up with him..left early Friday morning before sun up to travel some 200 miles west to grab two engine/tranny combo's..then grabbed some parts in Columbia before driving to Charleston to visit my dad.. BloodyKnuckles Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Man Tim! I'm sorry I missed you. I think maybe you went home a bit early. In over 5 years this was the busiest and best fall autofair. Thursday went from being a ghost town to pretty busy by about 11:30-12. Friday and today was crazy. I had a great time. Again, sorry I missed you. See you in the spring? BloodyKnuckles Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 28, 2010 Author Report Posted August 28, 2010 I saw lots of traffic late Thursday but few people did not unover from te rain..some showed and though in place where not set up to sell..I pretty much was flat out walked out come about 3:30... I grabbed a few things, Restoration Specialites was thee but did not carry much stock on their truck this trip...(heavier and larger rubber pieces/stock was left behind) I am sure the place was booming come Friday..more and more folks rolled in that evening after normal hours..I usually stay through Friday but this trip was split as I had an exctra 400 mile side trip planned and then yet another stopover before getting to dads.. Ihave been pretty much busy here at pops since arrival and now that I have fixed supper and the meal is done..we are planning to leave here for a short shopping stint in town for an it3em or two he needs about the place.. I do plan to be back in spring..I like the Charlotte show..this one just started a bit slow..did you see the P15 coupe in the green field? Quote
