Autonut1 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 I need an exploded view of a 1940 Ply. trunk handle. Can anyone tell me where I can get one??? I am not sure that my trunk handle has all the parts that it should have and it would also be nice to know exactly how every thing goes together. Your help is greatly appreciated; Dan the Autonut Quote

Cpt.Fred Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 this is is the one you have, right? i remember something about the handle in the manual, if i get to the garage tonight i'll look it up for you. i guess it will work quite similar though, maybe they only changed the looks... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 12, 2010 Report Posted August 12, 2010 Fred, just take a closeup picture of the drawing in the parts book and post it just like any other picture. Unless you're good at scanning stuff. (which I don't seem to be) Quote

Never mind. I screwed up. I had a senior momment, the trunk handle I was talking about was actualy the one for my 41 chev coupe. Sorry if I caused anyone any inconvienence. Thats what I get for trying to multi-task. Embarrased, Dan the Autonut Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 hey dan, too late... i already did it! doesn't help much, but anyway, here it is. we were all wrong from the start, this ain't no trunk handle, it is a LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID HANDLE... sadly there wasn't any exploded view in the manual. fred Quote
